Nigeria failing right before our eyes - Ben Bruce reacts to Alex Badeh's killing

- Ben Bruce has condemned the Tuesday, December 18, killing of a former Chief of Defence Staff Alex Badeh

- Senator Bruce said Nigerians are only currently interested in political arguments between APC ad PDP

- According to Bruce, the country is gradually failing and no one seems to notice

The Senator representing Bayelsa east constituency has condemned the killing of a former chief of defence staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh by some unknown gunmen on Tuesday, December 18.

Bruce in a tweet said the country is only currently interested in political arguments involving the All Progressives Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party and have failed to notice that Nigeria is failing.

Also condemning the consistent killing of soldiers and prominent Nigeria, the Senator queried the real cause of these mishaps.

Bruce said: "Are we so caught up in APC versus PDP arguments that we are not noticing that Nigeria is failing right before our eyes?"

"Soldiers are being killed by terrorists at an alarming rate. Prominent Nigerians either assassinated or kidnapped and killed. Whole states taken over by bandits. What is happening?" he asked.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the former defence chief was killed when his vehicle was attacked while he was returning from his farm along Abuja-Keffi road.

Disclosing the news on social media, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, the director of public relations and information of the Nigerian Air Force.
