- Paul Pogba has been told by Man United they have no intention of selling him
- The creative midfielder has been put on the bench in their last two matches
- The Frenchman is expected to start against Valencia in the Champions League
Manchester United have reportedly told Paul Pogba he will not be sold in the January transfer window despite falling out of favour with Jose Mourinho.
The Frenchman was dropped in United's last two games and was an unused substitute in Saturday's 4-1 win over Fulham at Old Trafford.
But Mourinho has said that the 25-year-old will return in Wednesday's Champions League clash with Valencia, where a weak side will be paraded against the Spanish team.

Pogba is likely to make a return at the weekend for the Red Devils in their crunch Premier League fixture against Liverpool at Anfield.
Surprisingly, Mourinho said the World Cup winner had the potential to be a fantastic player when he was named as the only United representative on UEFA's 50-man shortlist for their team of the year.
Having stripped him of the vice-captaincy in September, the Portuguese gaffer is said to have been fed up of Pogba's inability to follow his game plan and obey instructions.
Mourinho accused a number of players of being a virus at the club before the 2-2 draw with Southampton at St Mary's.

The Manchester club still see a bright future for Pogba and are cautious of the message that selling a world-class player would send out.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba believes Jose Mourinho is trying to "humiliate" and "make an example" of him to other flops in the squad.
It is understood that the 25-year-old acknowledges he is being used as a scapegoat by the Portuguese gaffer.
