Premier League side Chelsea have been handed a huge boost concerning their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Andrien Rabiot.
Parisians boss Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that the Frenchman is free to go if he does not sign a contract extension before the end of the January window.
The 23-year-old's contract with the Parc des Princes outfit expires at the end of the season and Chelsea are keen to land the midfielder.

Rabiot has played 20 times in all competitions for the Ligue 1 outfit this season and he is also wanted by Arsenal and Liverpool.

On the other hand, Tuchel has also confirmed that the club are still looking for a defensive midfielder to add up with Marco Verratti, Marquinhos and Lassana Diarra.
Rabiot is expected to be impress his Premier League suitors in the Champions League last 16 when PSG face Manchester United over two legs.
Rabiot was parade against Liverpool at Anfield but came on as a second half in the second leg during the group phase.

According to The Mirror, the 23-year-old Rabiot’s present PSG deal runs out at the end of the campaign which has seen the likes of Barcelona circle around the talented midfielder.
