Legit.ng gathered that the Duchess of Sussex made a guest appearance at the British Fashion Awards which held at the Royal Albert Hall in Kesington, London, on the evening of December 10, 2018.
At the event, she presented her wedding dress designer, Clare Waight Keller, of Givenchy, with the prestigious British Womenswear Designer of the Year award.

The 48-year-old, who was very pleased at receiving the award, said: “This woman is so amazing. I got to know Meghan on such a personal level. To have someone like that trust you on such a personal moment in their life... I can't thank you enough because it was the most beautiful moment.”

The duchess looked stunning in an elegant one-shouldered velvet maxi gown which she paired with gold high heeled sandals and gold bangles and simple gold earrings. She also packed her hair to the back in a classic bun. Meghan sure looked like a Grecian goddess in the outfit.

Interestingly, the soon-to-be mother was also spotted rocking black nail polish which is against the protocol of female members of the royal family who are advised to stick to barely visible nail polish when attending events.

According to Daily Mail, while addressing the audience at the occasion, Meghan revealed that she was glad to be celebrating fashion in her new home, UK. She said: "It's such a pleasure to be here, celebrating British fashion and British designers, in my new home in the UK."
