In recent times, there have been several reports of people suffering domestic violence in their homes. Quite noticeable is the fact that women are mostly victims of abuse.
In order to curb this menace, a number of people take to social media to share their stories.
A Nigerian lady, Aniextian (@Feints_twists), recently took to her Twitter page to reveal that her cousin is a victim of domestic violence. More surprising is the fact that the husband, who is a church deacon, used to beat her with iron rods.
Aniextian further explained that her cousin is actually the bread winner of the family.
Finally, she used the opportunity to warn people to be careful when choosing lifelong partners because appearances can be deceiving.
