Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that Governor Samuel Ortom, on Tuesday, October 9, told Senator George Akume that the type of godfatherism reportedly being practised in Lagos state would not work in the state.
Ortom stated this while reacting to a claim that Akume, Benue state governor between 1999 and 2007, publicly attacked him.
The governor said the attack on him by his predecessor was because he refused to submit to his self-interest (Akume's) control.
