Super Eagles superstar signs new long term deal with his Premier League deal until 2023

- Isaac Success has extended his stay at Watford after signing new five year deal at the club

- The new contract will see the attacker represent the club until the summer of 2023

- He has scored once in 13 appearances Premier League appearances this season

Nigeria international Isaac Success has signed a new long term deal with his Premier League side Watford FC.

The 22-year-old has made 13 English topflight appearances for the Hornets this term, scoring just once in the process.

He signed new five year contract that will keep him at the Vicarage Road Stadium outfit until the summer of 2023.

Reacting to the star signing contract extension, the chairman of the club, Scott Duxbury says the deal is the reward for hard work.

This is a just reward for Isaac's continued hard work and application this season. We look forward to seeing him develop further over the coming years.” chairman & CEO Scott Duxbury said.

Success joined the Premier League side in July 2016 from Granada for a then-club-record fee and has scored four goals in 23 matches.

He was sent on loan to Spanish League side Málaga in the second half of the 2017/18 season and returned to the club at the end of the season.

The 22-year-old has scored three goals in six starts so far this campaign, including finishing off a well-worked set-piece move against Huddersfield at Vicarage Road.

Legit.ng recalls that Nigerian forward Isaac Success was on target for Watford in their 2-0 win over Reading in Wednesday's League Cup second round clash.

The goal ended the attacker's 22-month goal drought in all competitions as they progressed to the next stage of the championship.

The former Flying Eagles and Golden Eaglets ace has suffered both fitness and disciplinary issues at Watford that saw the club’s record signing play the second half of the 2017-18 campaign on loan at Spanish side Malaga.
