Tragedy struck the Nigerian football family over the weekend former Nigerian star and coach of Nationwide League side Ajuma Ottache dies. She was said to have gone back and forth trying taking care of the injury but ended up losing the battle to death on Saturday, November 10
Ex-Nigerian star and Goodland Rangers FC head coach Ajuma Ottache has been reported dead.
Before her death, she was the only woman managing a man's club in the Nigerian Nationwide League before passing on November 10.
She was said to have been battling a rare muscular disease which resurfaced while on national assignment during Flamingos last qualifying matches in Benin city died midday on Saturday.

Ajuma was part of the Falcons squad that won the Africa Women Cup of Nations title in 2004 and represented the country at both the Olympic games and the Africa Games in the same year.
Shocked by the news, tobexSports reported that everyone felt she had overcome the troubling period of her life.
"I and everyone thought she had overcome the last phase of this physical and emotional draining ailment.

"We had talked about our plans for Goodland Rangers for the new season and had looked forward to her quick recovery" she stated.
TobexSports further explained that it had been a rough journey from one hospital to the other since December. She did fight a good fight but God knows the best.

"I had come back from Ebonyi for this shocking development, I am indeed sad and in shock. I saw her take her last breath, it is well" tobexSports concluded.
She was until her death one of the best qualified female coaches Nigeria ever had - with CAF B licence, UEFA badge B and a Diploma with the NIS. She is survived by her husband and three children.
