Revealed - Top 3 Chelsea players with the highest wages at the Stamford Bridge

The take over helped the club make his mark not just in the Premier League but also in Europe after winning the UCL title in 2012.

And one season down the line, they became one of the teams to have won the Europa League title in 2013.

However, the Blues rank among top three teams spending lavishly on players when the transfer window opens.

Below are top three earners at the Stamford Bridge and the figures may sky-rocket depending on the new deal they sign with the club.

1. Cesc Fabregas - £156,000 per week

The former Arsenal and Barcelona midfielder has struggled for playing time since the arrival of Maurizio Sarri in August.

Featuring in just three out of their last 12 Premier League matches with no goal and assist credited to him so far this term.

However, that doesn't stop him from earning big at the club having won two EPL titles with them since he joined them in 2014.

He started his English premiership career at Arsenal then moved to Barcelona in 2011, and currently holds the record for second most assists ever in the EPL but now doesn’t seem suited to manager Sarri’s fast-paced playing style.

2. Kepa Arrizabalaga - £192,000 per week

Chelsea’s new goalkeeper is breaking all sorts of financial records after joining the club as the world’s most expensive goalkeeper and earns the second highest salary at Stamford Bridge.

Arriving for £71.6 million this season after Curtois’ departure, Kepa is already making a name for himself with 5 clean sheets this season.

3. Eden Hazard - £200,000 per week

Russia 2018 bronze winning star Hazard is the highest paid Chelsea star so far owing to his contributions at the club.

He joined the club from French League side Lille in 2012 and his impact has been long-lasting on the Blues.

The 27-year-old helped them win the Europa League title in his debut season, and has gone ahead to win two EPL titles and other domestic cups in English club football.

Hazard has been on the radar of Spanish League giants Real Madrid having lost their superstar Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus this summer.

The current figure may increase drastically due to 2 reasons – the Belgian’s contract is winding down and the player’s head may be turned with a concrete bid from Madrid.
