Manchester United are reportedly planning to reward Juan Mata's impressive performance at Old Trafford with new three year contract.
The Spaniard's current deal expires at the end of this season but the Red Devils are ready to extend his stay at the club.
According to the Mirror, Spanish League giants have been monitoring the attacker's situation at his present club, hoping they can lure him to the club.

Mata joined United in 2014 under former boss David Moyes from Chelsea in a deal around £37 million and was part of the team that won the 2017 Europa League title.
The 30-year-old has been linked with a move to join fellow Premier League outfit Arsenal at the end of his stay at Old Trafford.
However, Jose Mourinho is not ready to let his star player leave and are willing to keep him at the club until the summer of 2022.

He moved into the top 100 on the list of the club's appearance makers in Saturday's stalemate with Crystal Palace.
"The top 100? I didn’t know that! Of course it’s always great when you can play such a good amount of games for such a big club," he said.

"I feel very happy and very proud and hopefully I can play many more games.”
Legit.ng recalls that Arsenal manager Unai Emery is planning a surprise move for Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata.
Daily Star citing Daily Mail report that the 30-year-old Mata - who is on £140k per week – has eight months left on his current contract at the club.
He is however expecting to be offered contract extension by the club, but is free to discuss with potential suitors from January 2019.
