Shaidatu Adamu, a suspected female Boko Haram bomber nabbed by the operatives of the Nigerian Army under the Operation Lafia Dole (peace by force) unit, has made a confession on her three-year ordeals living with Boko Haram members in Sambisa forest.
The Punch reports that the 19-year-old female bomber was intercepted by 251 Task Force Battalion (TFB) soldiers manning Gonikalachari area of Borno.
Legit.ng gathers that upon her arrest, Adamu revealed that she hailed from Gwoza community, and she had been living in Sambisa for three years before being sent on a lone mission.

In a statement made available through the official handle of the Nigerian Army, Adamu was reported to have been inducted into the Boko Haram insurgency after years in their Sambisa hideout.
Army said: “Upon interrogation, she said she was sent on a lone mission. She confessed that she had been in the Sambisa forest for about three years.
According to the statement, the lady has been transferred to military intelligence unit for further questioning after the explosive on her crest vest was successfully diffused.
It said: “Consequently, troops from the 47 Explosive Ordinance Device Battalion (EODB) were invited to diffuse the explosives. She has been transferred to the 7 Military Intelligence Brigade, Maiduguri for further investigation.”

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the Nigerian Army had claimed killing several Boko Haram insurgents and recovered weapons in an encounter that ensued at Zari village in Guzamala local government area of Borno on Friday, August 30.
Onyeama Nwachukwu, deputy director, public relations, Theatre Command Operation Lafiya Dole, disclosed this in a statement in Maiduguri.
