Cases of plastic surgeries gone wrong are becoming very rampant in the world today. While many people loose their lives trying to enhance themselves through this procedures, others are scarred for life and left with life-threatening diseases.
Following series of these unfortunate incidences, actress, Georgina Onuoha, has taken to her social media to warn people of the grave dangers that lies in plastic surgery. According to the actress who is also a health information specialist, there are a lot of quack doctors who know nothing about plastic surgery.
She went on to advice people considering going under the knife to always do proper research before anything else. In her words:"f you have to go enlarge you bu*tts, go to board certified plastic surgeons. Don’t follow trends you can not keep up with 10 years from now. Remember we lost a former First Lady due to complications from plastic surgery in Marbella Spain. While they do fat transplants, use silicone and raise your muscles to perform all these shenanigans! Remember side effects and Adverse Effects. I hope none of you face any sentinel event"

The plastic surgery trend has become common among celebrities in Nigeria. While actress Tonto Dikeh was very opened about her cosmetic surgery, Dabota Lawson and Toke Makinwa have remained mute about their rumour 'body work'.
Meanwhile, the story of a lady identified as Desiree Davis seems to corroborate Onuoha's warnings against the ills of plastic surgery.
Davis is currently regretting her decision to go under the knife and she has taken to social media to warn others. Left with serious medical condition after a cosmetic surgical procedure went wrong, she is advising ladies to learn to love their bodies the way they are.
