Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri 'makes personal phone call' to £50m-rated World Cup winner

- Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has made a promise in a personal call to Lyon star Nabil Fekir

- The 25-year-old Fekir is an hot demand and Sarri wants to be in poll position to sign the Frenchman

- Fekir has scored four times for Lyon in the Ligue 1 this term.and his current contract expires in 2020

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is eager to sign £50m-rated Lyon star Nabil Fekir and has contacted the Frenchman over plans to bring him to the Premier League.

According to a UK Sun report citing Sport Witness, the 69-year-old Italian is tempting the Frenchman, with an offer that he will be in his masterplan when he joins the Blues.

Chelsea joined the chase for the summer World Cup winner after Liverpool’s interest during the summer failed to materialize.

However, Sarri wants to be more cautious as reports suggest Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich are among potential suitors for the 25-year-old Fekir.

The versatile French star, who is still under contract at Lyon until 2020, has scored four times for the Ligue 1 campaigners this term.

Reacting over a possible switch to the Premier League after failing to sign for Liverpool, Fekir revealed he has not held talks about on transfer with Lyon chiefs.

"What happened with Liverpool is straight out of my head, I turned the page.

"We must not stop at this, we must move forward. There are things that must be accepted.

"My future? We have not discussed an extension yet, we will see what happens,” Fekir added.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously had reported that Chelsea star Eden Hazard has given the club's fans some statements they will be worried about after admitting that he is tired with the Blues third on the EPL table after 12 games played.

Hazard has been superb this season for Chelsea scoring eight goals in all competitions, but the Belgian believes the 2018 World Cup campaign have had an impact on his games.

Eden who helped his country to win bronze medal in Russia was unable to score for his club on Sunday, November 11, against Everton in a Premier League encounter which ended goalless.
