President Muhammadu Buhari, Senate president Bukola Saraki and other prominent Nigerians would on Sunday, November 18, converge on the university of Ibadan, to raise funds for the construction of the N5 billion International Islamic Centre of the Muslim Ummah of South West (MUSWEN).
Nigerian Tribune reports that the event which is the high point of activities marking the 10th year anniversary of MUSWEN, would be chaired by the head, Bi-Courtney group of companies, Wale Babalakin, while the president, Dangote Group of Companies, Aliko Dangote, is billed to function as chief launcher.

Legit.ng gathered that a statement by the chairman, MUSWEN 10th year anniversary, Alhaji Yisa Abdulkareem, said that the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II, would deliver the keynote address on the theme, “Stronger Ummah, greater nation.”
The roll call of royal fathers expected at the occasion includes the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar; Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III; the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi; the Awujale of Ijebu land, Oba Sikiru Adetona.
Also expected at the event are, former Lagos state governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; leader, House of Representatives, Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila; former Inspector General of Police, Alhaji Musiliu Smith; MUSWEN's president, Sakariyau Babalola; MUSWEN's executive secretary, Professor Dawud Noibi.
The list of political office holders expected are, Governors Abiola Ajimobi; Ibikunle Amosun; Rauf Aregbesola; Rotimi Akeredolu; Kayode Fayemi and Akinwunmi Ambode.
Other dignitaries expected include the Aare Musulumi of Yoruba land, Alhaji Daud Makanjuola; Alhaji Sulaiman Adegunwa and Admiral Jubrila Ayinla; League of Imams and Alfas in Yoruba land and other Islamic titled holders, Islamic groups and envoys of Arab speaking nations.
The day will also see the presentation of a book titled, “Islam in Yoruba land.”

Activities marking the 10th year anniversary of MUSWEN had commenced on August 10, 2018, with a press conference.
