Arsenal manager Unai Emery has been tasked with the responsibility of getting the London club back to the Champions League.
According to a talkSPORT report, the Spanish tactician has now been warned by Arsenal eggheads he must get the club back to the continental tournament.
Managing director Vinai Venkatesham is said to have asserted that the club is missing out on ‘tens of millions of pounds’ from their failure to qualify for Europe’s elite competition.'

Venkatesham reportedly added that Champions League football is Emery's minimum requirement at the Emirates.
Whereas Arsenal needs to usurp Premier League giants including Man City, Man United, Chelsea and rivals Spurs for a spot in the UCL, Venkatesham admitted it is not going to be an easy task for the Gunners.

“It is not going to be easy but I absolutely, 100 per cent believe Arsenal Football Club can get back to where it needs to get,” talkSPORT quoted Venkatesham.
“The first step we need to do is get back into the Champions League and then we need to start competing and then we need to start winning the biggest trophies in the game.
“I think it has an impact across the club – it is a material impact, financially, being in the Europa League and not the Champions League," he added.
Currently, Arsenal are fifth on the EPL standings with 24 points, eight behind league leaders Man City.
Legit.ng previously reported that Arsenal were on the verge of signing former Paris Saint Germain boss, Unai Emery.
The Gunners were looking for a replacement for their outgone manager Arsene Wenger who stepped down from his position in May after 22 years in charge.
However, former midfielder Mikel Arteta emerged as one of the names who could take over after the departure of the Frenchman.
But Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis seems to have suffered cold feet over Arteta after hearing whispers that some of the club’s current players questioned whether he was up to the job.
