He continued: “We come with no religion or tribe but with national plans to educate all Nigerians on how, the need, and urgency to participate in our electoral processes, and the work of governance. The long term goal is to infuse our democracy with the ideals of liberty, rule of law and equality.

“Our motto is love, sacrifice, and forgiveness as we believe that a nation of people that can embrace the selfless values of sacrifice, love themselves as fellow citizens, and forgives easily is surely a nation that prospers.

“Our intentions are just, and our programs are designed to provoke Nigerians into actions that increase participation in our democracy. The more participation we gather, the more we enlarge, deepen, and enrich our democracy for the results of transparency and accountability in governance.”

He noted that different generations of Nigerians have at different times stood up to different challenges to sustain the country.

According to him, “their work of services to our nation is our greatest heritage as current generation of Nigerians.”

“We have a collective responsibility to build on this as our legacy for future generation of Nigerians. There is no better legacy than that of good governance, growth and national development.

“A Nigeria where good governance thrive is the country that will giver every citizen the chance, and opportunity to live a life of purpose and dignity,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, a new initiative, DOS support group, arrow headed by a group of young professionals have been designed to seek the democratization of campaign funding while ensuring a level playing field for all candidates irrespective of party lines and ideological leanings ahead of the 2019 general elections.

Legit.ng gathered that the initiative is an online structure that would transparently seek to attract retail campaign funding from the massive potential donor community online and then direct the funds towards credible aspirants vying for political offices.

According to the promoters, these funds would go to all aspirants no matter the party lines of ideological affiliation depending on the choice of the donor or contributor.
