The Nigeria Amputee football team have been swimming in financial crisis ahead of this year's World Cup and they have been doing their best not to miss the championship which will start this month.
Already, they have missed the last three editions of the World Cup due to their inability to raise funds for travelling and they are now on the verge of missing another tournament.
The possible consequence Nigeria Amputee team could face if they miss this year's World Cup is for them to get a ban from FIFA for lack of seriousness to competitions.
They have met the Super Eagles in Uyo and got $16,530 out of the $40,000 they need for the championship.
Meanwhile, the championship will start on October 24, and it is not yet clear if Nigeria will participate or not.
