The history of Oyo state will never be complete without recognizing the Alaafin of Oyo. It appears that Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III is presently the longest serving king the state has ever had.
On Monday, October 15, Oba Adeyemi turned 80 and his beautiful queens took to their various Instagram handle to celebrate their husband. The controversial birthday message came from the second to the last queen, Olori Memunat Omowumi.
Olori Memunat who recently gave birth to twin girls, shared several pictures of her husband and in one of her social media posts, she referred to Alaafin of Oyo as her ancestor.

Her post reads: “You are truly amazing. You are my everything. Few hours to your birthday. My ANCESTOR. Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband.
