Nollywood actor, Femi Adebayo, has just floored his father Adebayo Salami at the African Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).
Femi and his father were nominated in the same category for the Best Indigenous Movie Yoruba. Femi while receiving the award said his father told him to go and make him proud by winning the coveted award. His movie Etiko Onigedu was nominated alongside his father’s Adaba.

In the same vein, veteran cinematographer, Tunde Kelani, emerged the winner of the 2018 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards’ Industry Merit Award. TK as he is fondly called was away to Mecca but sent a stronf representative in former ex-international footballer Segun Odegbami and his son to pick up his award.
Ngozi Nwosu makes Falz take selfie with her on stage
Falz carted home the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Movie/TV Series category. His award was presented to him by veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu who is also an ambassador to a telecommunication company. Before announcing the winner, Ngozi had announced that whoever wins the category is going to take a selfie with her. She is in a running advert of the company alongside Mama Rainbow where both acted as mother-in-law and are obsessed with taking selfie. Falz who had earlier performed before his winning had to take a selfie with Ngozi before he was presented with his award.

BBNaija 2018 couple, Tobi and Alex who were called on stage to present an award though cute in their outfit seems to be giving credence to their rumoured fight with their attitude to each other on stage.
IK Osakioduwa falls in love with another man’s wife, sings her love song on bended knees
While some people are receiving awards and looking peng, IK is falling in love.
IK who hosted the AMVCA 2018 gave the audience another side of him when he decided to sing a love song. Though he was at the event with his wife, IK picked on another man’s wife to sing a love song to while she was seated beside her husband in the audience. IK asked if her husband ever sang for her before and she said no then he sang for the beautiful lady. At a point, her husband who could no longer take it drew his wife to himself and signal to IK to cut it off while the audience laughed it off.

Dino Melaye's movie gets nominated for AMVCA 2019
The host of this year’s AMVCA IK Osakioduwa has already nominated Senator Dino Melaye for an award at the next edition of AMVCA award even before submission of movies is called for.
IK nominated Dino’s movie he self-titled 11 Hours in the Wilderness. He noted that Senator Melaye had tried his hand in music which yielded no award but his first attempt at movie making is worthy of note thus his nomination.
The senator who was seated among the audience was all laughter with his nomination.
NAIJ.com had earlier reported that BBNaija 2017 first runner up Bisola almost had a wardrobe malfunction due to her excited reaction to her winning an award when she was not even nominated.
