Have you ever heard stories of students crushing on their teachers or mentors? It is strange but not uncommon, and it usually occurs when a teacher or mentor's way or style of teaching is appealing and charismatic.
Most times these students fall in love with the idea of the mentor or teacher. If you ever heard the story about this particular occurrence, you probably laughed and called the child unserious.
Even the teachers find it amusing and unimportant, but it becomes something else when a student starts to send love notes to a teacher he or she has a crush on.
A female corps member identified simply as Pamela has taken to social media to share a love note that was sent to her through text message. The lady shared a screenshot of the message on her Twitter account.

The lady expressed that she wishes her mandatory one year service in the National Youth Service Corps would come to an end soon. She noted that students started to share her number around class.

This, student teacher crush may not be uncommon and it maybe harmless, however, it becomes a crime if the teacher who might be a lot older than the student reciprocates the affection especially when the teacher or mentor abuses his or her power over the child.
