Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi has reportedly told the Spanish La Liga champions to sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba when the January transfer window opens.
According to the report on Daily Star UK, the Argentina international wants to the 2018 World Cup winner to be in the same squad with him next year.
Since the start of the ongoing Premier League season, Paul Pogba has been linked with a move to the Nou Camp, but Manchester United refused to sell the Frenchman last month.
Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda says Messi wants the former Juventus star to be the long-term replacement for Andres Iniesta at the Nou Camp.
“Messi has asked for Pogba, but the problem of Barca is the Financial Fair Play.
