Kogi governor’s convoy reportedly involved in serious crash

Governor Yahaya Bello’s convoy reportedly got involved in a serious road accident.

Nigerian Tribune reports that the incident was confirmed by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).

Wobin Gora who is the sector commander of the FCT confirmed the accident which he said happened in Abuja on Monday, September 19.

He said although he did not have the full details of the accident, he confirmed the governor was not involved in it. He blamed the accident on the speeding drivers of the convoy.

Meanwhile, the eldest son of the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa'ad Abubkar III, was allegedly involved in a ghastly car accident.

Amir was said to be driving at about 12 noon within Sokoto Airport Road, in an area called Bado, when the accident happened.

According to Sahara Reporters, Amir was in the vehicle with Khalifa Maccido, son of Aliyu Macciddo, and a girl he allegedly imported from Kaduna to have fun with when the incident took place.
