Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is confident that the club's number one goalkeeper David De Gea will sign a new deal at Old Trafford.
The Spanish goalkeeper has long been linked with a move away from the club with Real Madrid and other top clubs in Europe reported to be interested in his signature.
According to the report by UK Sun, the 27-year-old goalie wants a salary that would bring him £350,000 a week for him to stay at Manchester United.
David De Gea's current deal at Manchester United will expire next summer, Jose Mourinho wants a new deal for him before the next transfer window opens.
“I don’t belong in the process of discussing deals with the players and negotiations with agents.
“I never did that, it’s something that I don’t even like to do. I would be a bad negotiator; I would give everything to the players! So I don’t belong to that.
“I just know that everything is in movement and hopefully sooner than later we’ll have good news,'' Jose Mourinho explained according to UK Sun.
