This Teen was Born without Legs but finds Confidence in Competitive Wrestling… & he’s getting a Netflix Documentary!

Born without legs and raised in foster care, one teen finds confidence through competitive wrestling. Zion, premiering August 10th on Netflix, proves that possibility is a question of perspective.

Zion Clark was born with caudal regression syndrome, a condition that caused him to be born without a lower body. After being placed in foster care at birth and going from home to home, he was placed with Kimberly Hawkins and she adopted him as a teenager.

After graduating from high school in 2016 with an impressive wrestling career, Zion is currently a student at Kent State University at Tuscarawas and is on the Golden Eagles’ wrestling team.

A multitasker, Zion also plays the drums, piano and trumpet.

He says “I just want them to quit feeling that pity for me. … I don’t know why they’re like, ‘Oh, I feel sorry for you.’ Don’t.”
