As the gale of defection whirl in the National Assembly, and between political parties, Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Oke Afa, Isolo, Lagos, has made predictions of difficult times for Nigeria, especially the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2019, Vanguard reports.

The primate, in his book, Warning To The Nations, said to be a collection of his prophecies that span from 2018 to 2019, stated that President Muhammadu Buhari will meet serious constraints in his rerun bid.
Ayodele stated: “President Buhari’s attempt to return will meet very stiff resistance from the opposition and if he tries to force his way, then there will be trouble in the country.”
The primate said that before 2015 elections he prophesied the defeat of President Goodluck Jonathan by a new party which, after taking over power, would disintegrate.
According to him, this is manifesting as recent events in the APC reveal. “It is going to be tough for the APC as a new party will give them a run for their money at the 2019 polls,” he said.
Concerning the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)'s chances of victory come 2019 presidential election, Ayodele said that there is hope for the opposition only if the Senate president, Bukola Saraki is given the ticket to run.

He said: “I do not know Saraki neither do we have any link, politically or otherwise. But he is the only man who can win anything for PDP.”
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com reported that as the battle to unseat Saraki allegedly by senators on the platform of the APC thickens, it had been learnt that their colleagues from the PDP had stormed Abuja.
The PDP senators were reportedly in Abuja to stop any of such plan against Saraki and his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu. NAIJ.com gathered that the PDP senators got a message from the leadership of the party for them to rush down to Abuja.
