Chelsea have identified Pickford as their priority target following his stunning World Cup performances for England.

But according to Goal, Everton are determined to hang on to the 24-year-old and will reject any offer from his suitors.

The Toffees signed Pickford from Sunderland last summer for £30m and would likely make a significant profit if they chose to cash in.

However new boss Marco Silva has invested well this summer and does not want to lose any key players as he looks to finish in Premier League top six.

Chelsea may now be forced to look elsewhere for Courtois' replacement this summer as the transfer window in England ends in two weeks.

The Belgium international reportedly stalled on a new contract offer at Stamford Bridge and is keen to be reunited with his children, who live in the Spanish capital.

The Blues are desperate for fresh legs as they look to bounce back from a disappointing final season under Antonio Conte.

Chelsea will meet Manchester City at Wembley for the Community Shield, before they kick off their Premier League campaign with a trip to Huddersfield on August 11.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that Chelsea have reportedly accepted a £66m offer for Willian from Manchester United and they want Gary Cahill to come with him, The Sun quoting Tuttosport.

Jose Mourinho has been linked with the Brazilian for months but Barcelona have remained favourites to land him this summer.
