Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr reveals how his players will qualify for the round of 16 at the Russia 2018 World Cup

- Gernot Rohr believes Nigeria can still qualify for the knock out stages at the Russia 2018 World Cup

- The Super Eagles coach stated that all what his players need is to get at least four points for them to make it

- Nigeria were beaten 2-0 by Croatia last Saturday, June 16, in their first match in Russia

Despite losing their first game against Croatia at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr believes hos wards can still qualify for the round of 16.

Nigerians and virtually all the Super Eagles fans were livid on Saturday, June 16, with how Croatia defeated Nigeria 2-0 to go top of Group D at the Russia 2018 World Cup.

Gernot Rohr who is currently facing serious criticisms from fans because of the defeat to Croatia believes his boys can redeem themselves by beating Iceland and Argentina.

‘’Everything is possible in football, it’s important to make at least four points if we want to qualify for the next round of this championship.

“We are only a point behind for the moment, nothing is lost and all is in our hands. Let’s be positive, we have the youngest team at the World Cup, let them learn and try to do better.

“We saw Iceland have a good game against Argentina, a very strong team, but we can also do better than what we did.

“We have to win against Iceland but all is possible still. If we win the next game all is possible for qualification,'' Gernot Rohr told Journalists in Russia according to Vanguard.

Nigeria will face Iceland on Friday, June 21, in their next match in Group D at the 2018 World Cup.

Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr attributed Nigeria's 2-0 loss to Croatia in the opening match at Kaliningrad to too many mistakes.

The Eastern Europeans broke the deadlock in the first half as a Mario Mandzukic's header was unfortunately steered home by Oghenekaro Etebor.

In a post match interview, Rohr admitted his players were aware they made a lot of mistakes that cost them in the match.
