- Ousmane Dembele could be on his way out of Barcelona this summer
- Argentinian soccer star Lionel Messi is said to have told Barcelona to sell him
- The Frenchman could be on his way to Premier League side Liverpool
Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi has reportedly told the club's chiefs to sell Frenchman Ousmane Dembele at the end of the ongoing season in the La Liga.
The news is now expected to be a great development for Premier League side Liverpool who want Dembele to be in their squad for next season.
Ousmane Dembele joined the Catalan giants from Borussia Dortmund just last summer in a huge deal worth £135m.
But his first season has been far from smooth with form and fitness issues affecting the youngster’s progress at the club.
He has managed to score only two goals this season in all competitions, and according to Don Balon, Messi believes it is best for Dembele to seek an exit from the Nou Camp.
Dembele has been linked with a switch to Anfield with the Reds ready to bolster their attack and spend the £142m Barcelona paid them for Philippe Coutinho in January 2018.

Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Barcelona youngster Ousmane Dembele might force a move away from Camp Nou this summer if he doesn’t get playing time.
The youngster joined the Catalan club in a five-year deal worth £135.5 million last summer from German Bundesliga side, Borussia Dortmund, but his reign at his Spanish side has been characterized by series of injury.
He suffered a hamstring injury shortly after joining the club last August and has only played six games since he returned to fitness in January 2018.
