Spanish giant, Barcelona, are closing a deal for Ajax star midfielder Frenkie De Jong.
Spanish media, El Mundo Deportivo report that Barca are in advance talk with De Jong's family and agent about a future agreement.
And the Camp Nou giants are seeking a long-term commitment from De Jong.

It is believed that the current La Liga champions do not plan to sign the midfielder immediately and instead wish to wait 12 months before bringing him to the LaLiga.
They are now seeking a pre-agreement with De Jong's camp which would prevent him from negotiating with a rival club.
Ajax chief Marc Overmars is also aware of Barca's intentions, which the Catalans might have to pay upfront commitment fee for the midfielder for 12 months.
With Andres Iniesta leaving Barca this summer and fellow midfielders Paulinho, Sergio Busquets and Ivan Rakitic all above thirty years, club chiefs recognise the need to bring down the age of their midfield options over the coming year.

Frenkie de Jong is a Dutch professional footballer who plays for Ajax of the Dutch Eredivisie.
He joined the elite Dutch side in the summer of 2015 and was was instrumental in Ajax making the Europa League final in 2017.
De Jong's feats throughout the 2016–17 season for Junior Ajax side saw him being awarded the Jupiler League's Talent of the Season award.
