Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously reported that Abdulrasheed Maina, the embattled former chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reforms, was told to present himself in court, instead of requesting to see President Muhammadu Buhari, by a Lagos-based human rights lawyer, Jiti Ogunye.
Ogunye spoke in reaction to an exclusive interview granted by the former pensions boss, in which he insisted that he was not guilty of the allegations leveled against him.
The lawyer insisted that Maina’s request was an attempt to evade justice, and described it as a ‘cock and bull story’.
