Former minister of finance, NgoziOkonjo-Iweala has received another important recognition for her work as she received the national award of labour by the Laos government.
The minister via her official twitter page said the award was on the decree of H.E President Bounyang Vorachit.

The award is in recognition of her work to the development of Laos.
NAIJ.com had reported that Okonjo-Iweala said President Muhammadu Buhari can fight corruption through strengthening institutions and incentives which could help shape the behaviour of people.
Okonjo-Iweala made this known during a panel discussion tagged, ''Fighting corruption'' at the World Bank/IMF headquarters in Washington DC, United States of America (USA).
Reports have it that she noted that the introduction of technologies in the financial administration would help checkmate corrupt practices.
