Reports in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital say that at least one explosion has killed several people.
TVC News reports that many are feared dead from the explosions.
On its part, Daily Post reports that the attack occurred at popular Muna garage but could not confirm if there were any casualties.

The report quoted Kabiru Shettima, a resident, as saying on phone that those who survived the blast were taken to the hospital in tricycles popularly called Keke.
Shettima could not confirm if anybody died because he was some distance away from the exact location of the explosion.
He said:“I don’t know the number of casualty, but I saw people being carried inside Keke Napep. I believe they are the wounded."
