She has found her passion and is now doing what she wants. She is a Nigerian singer, photographer, songwriter and philanthropist. TY Bello was born in Ogun State, Nigeria. Before she started to pursue her music career, she studied at the University of Lagos. TY Bello gained her degree in Economics there.
She also loved journalism, so she practiced journalism a lot and finally got interested in photography. That is why photography and music turned out to be her favorite hobbies, which soon after she graduated turned into her business. TY Bello herself is very well-known for her singles “Ekundayo", "This Man", "Greenland", "Freedom". Despite the fact that TY Bello had a great prospect in the music business, photography was always her passion. TY Bello became a member of the Depth of Field, a Nigerian photography association and was even the official photographer of former President Goodluck Jonathan. Now she works as a photographer with “Thisday” fashion magazine.

Before giving a birth, TY Bello struggled with Endometriosis. She had to put up with endless pressure from family and friends. The famous mom does not hide the fact that she went through IVF to have her boys. In addition, she admits that her getting pregnant was the most difficult task she ever had to do. TY Bello also denied that she actually had a surrogate mother to carry the twins. She wondered about those rumors’ evidence, as during her pregnancy she even had a photo session done to leave some memories about what is believed to be a woman’s special time.
"Funny enough I had a shoot during my pregnancy and the makeup artist who did my makeup during my maternity shoot was in a room where this was being thrown around and she couldn't stop laughing as she spent enough time with me when I was pregnant. I was blessed to have Kelechi Amadi-Obi make the photographs and it was special as he had photographed our wedding as well.”, - said TY Bello.

She mentioned that IVF was a hard decision to make, especially when she was so busy with her work. But she could not wait any longer.
“I went through my IVF cycle with her, probably in the middle of the busiest seasons in my career. I remember jabbing myself at airports sometimes just to keep with the schedule as I worked like crazy. Sometimes I think I stayed so ridiculously busy just to keep my mind off the difficult process. To the glory of God, that cycle was successful and everything inside of me screamed for me to slow down but I didn't just know how. I decided to start a pregnancy journal and instinctively titled it "Quiet Streams" Immediately I knew then that everything was going to change and it did. It was like a switch was flipped and my body went rest mood."

After IVF was carried out, TY Bello decided to go for a test. However, she claimed that didn't feel pregnant. Although, something inside was telling her: 'Wear something nice'. As if she knew today would be a day to remember. When she found out about pregnancy, TY Bello couldn’t stop crying. She screamed so loud that it was even difficult to be understood. It was so overwhelming, her and her husband’s dream had finally come true. They were truly happy.

Pastors Obi Pax Harry and Angela Ashong were the first people who told TY Bello that she was carrying twins. The woman simply couldn't believe in it. Just being pregnant with one child seemed hard for her to imagine, but being pregnant with twins seemed just impossible! She said she was usually joking around with friends about the possibility of having twins. Nine years of waiting is a long period of time, so she wished she could give birth to two kids at same time.
