Segun Oni, deputy national chairman (South) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) said it was not true that he supported anti-party activities by meeting with opposition elements like Ayodele Fayose, Ekiti state governor, and the Godswill Akpabio, the senate minority leader, and Senator Ahmed Makarfi , People Democratic Party (PDP) chairman.
Oni said it was just mere allegation adding that he did not have anything to do with the PDP members, Vanguard reports.
Naij.com gathered that he made this known over the weekend at his campaign headquarters in Ado-Ekiti.

The APC chieftain however said that he would resign from his position one month before the governorship primary of his party would held by early next year, to enable him participate as an aspirant.
He also said the party constitution says he must resign one month before the party’s primary, noting that he would not disobey his party’s law.

The former governor expressed concern about the increasing rate of hate campaign against him.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had reported the PDP decried an attack on some of its members who were on their way to Abuja for its national convention this weekend.
The opposition party said it was shocked at the incident and has called for an investigation into the matter.
