Nigeria's former Aviation Minister, Mr. Femi Fani Kayode has reacted to the exit of Doyin Okupe, the former special adviser to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
NAIJ.com had previously reported that Okupe on Sunday July 2 announced his exit from the party through a long message on his Facebook page.

Okupe in his Facebook message aid: “It is with deep regret that I publicly announce my resignation from the People’s Democratic Party. It has to be public because the PDP no longer exists in my ward as a single unified party; it was when I joined it.
Fani-Kayode reacts to Doyin Okupe's exit from PDP, says party may lose more people soon
“My resignation is based on periods of long introspection and some of the following reasons: 1. It is no longer news that the PDP has been embroiled in a fratricidal internal crisis brought upon it by itself.
“Its current direction is difficult to discern and I am convinced that even when the much expected judgement from the Supreme Court is given, the future of the party is not likely to be significantly affected whichever way the judgement goes.

The former minister in his tweet described Okupe as a big loss to the party, adding that, adding that PDP would miss him sorely.
“The dumping of PDP by @doyinokupe is a big loss for our party. I spoke with him today and heard real reasons. We may lose more people soon,” he tweeted.
