A disappointed and angry Rochester mother scathingly attacked and badly humiliated tailor for making her daughter what she described as disastrous prom dress.

Dee Lewis had reportedly paid designer Kia Wagner almost N10,000 to make a killer prom outfit for her teenage daughter Malexa Maeweather. However she got the shock of her life when the finished product arrived.

Lewis proceeded to share photos of the ugly prom dress on social media and many seemed to agree that it was indeed not befitting for a pretty young girl going to prom party.
The teenager had initially spotted a dress that she liked on Instagram and asked her mom to get it for her. But when they checked it later, they couldn’t find the dress.

She said: “She called my daughter to go fetch her dress, which she charged N10,000. The see-through dress was a disaster. My daughter couldn’t wear that thing to prom. I was certainly not wrong to demand for refund.”

In the end, Malexa ’s friend came to her aid. They gave her befitting dress to the prom and saved her the embarrassment she would have faced should she have put on the designer’s outfit.
