The deputy governor of Cross River, Professor Ivara Esu, has warmed the hearts of many after he was spotted holding an umbrella for his boss, Ben Ayade, the state governor.
This happened while they were inspecting a project. Read how a Facebook page, Ghp Calabar, captioned the photos:
"Rain! Rain!! Rain!!! That's our region, that's our state Cross River. But no matter how heavy it rains, it is not enough to hinder the state Governor, Professor, Ben Ayade and his Deputy, Professor Ivara Esu, from inspecting projects to ensure timely completion.

"The Deputy Governor, Prof. Ivara Esu, exhibited a rare sense of humility by holding his umbrella while on inspection and sharing the covering with his boss, the Governor. Indeed, this is the true Cross River spirit: caring, sharing, giving and being our brothers keeper. #thinkcrossriver #humilityweare #thespiritofcrossriver #ilovecrossriver"
