NAIJ.com gathered that a Nigerian man who is currently serving a life-imprisonment term for murder in the UK, has been declared 'Britain's most dangerous prisoner'.
31-year-old Michael Adebolajo who was arrested alongside another Nigerian, Michael Adebowale, for the murder of a British soldier, Fusilier Lee Rigby, in 2013, was declared a terrorist and given a life-sentence in prison.
Adebolajo, a Muslim extremist who asked to be known as Mujaahid Abu Hamza in court, has now been declared the most dangerous prisoner in the British penal system.
Adebolajo who has been described by prison officers as “violent, unpredictable and a major danger to other prisoners”, earned that status because of his ability to radicalise other prison inmates.

According to Mirror Online, lots of inmates have already become radicalised by Adebolajo, and have vowed to become Jihadis once they regain their freedom. Some non-Muslim prisoners have also reportedly converted to Islam and have sworn their allegiance to the Islamic State.
A prison official who spoke to Mirror Online said:
“Adebolajo spends most of his waking hours preaching his distorted form of Islam to anyone who will listen. He sees every inmate as a potential Islamic State soldier whether they are Muslims or not.
He has a big personality and is very charismatic and some of the more vulnerable prisoners will fall under his spell. He is a very dangerous individual.”

The official also said:
“If he is suspected of trying to radicalise other inmates we step in and move him. But even in prison, Adebolajo cannot be watched all the time. We don’t have the staff or the resources.”
