Deep reasons Fani-Kayode and Governor Fayose are supporting Biafran agitators - Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo

- Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo said Biafra, as was being sought, can never be achieved by Nnamdi Kanu and his supporters

- Omololu-Olunloyo said Biafran agitators are getting support from Governor Ayodele Fayose and Femi Fani-Kayode because they don't want the Yorubas to be affected like in 1966

A self-acclaimed journalist and rights activist, Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo, has revealed that Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti and former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, support the agitation by the Igbos for a special reason.

According to Omololu-Olunloyo, the daughter of a former governor, the two politicians support the agitation because they do not want a repeat of the tragedy that befell the Yorubas in 1966.

Omololu-Olunloyo took time to give details of the first military coup that ever happened in Nigeria and how some notable Yorubas were either killed or almost assassinated.

Fani-Kayode and Fayose have special reasons for supporting Kanu - Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo

Kemi said she was two when the military coup happened in 1966

She however vowed to fight against any plan by Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and his supporters to disintegrate Nigeria.

She said while she was just two at the time, Femi Fani-Kayode was five.

They think Fani Power and Fayose are agitating for them. All my brothers are doing are preventing a repeat of July 1966 when Ibos were sla*ghtered in Makurdi and other parts of the north in revenge for Nzeogwu's attack on the northern and Yoruba leaders. FFK and I LIVED IT!

My father was 31 years old and a commissioner in Akintola's government. He ran to Akintola's house that morning before the soldiers arrived.

My mom, a mere 26-year-old secretarial assistant, was the one typing the letters fast; as she told me I was two years old and sick that morning sitting next to her.

The letters were to tell the cabinet and others that the soldiers were COMING and they had killed Ahmadu Bello, Tafawa Balewa and Okotie- Eboh that morning.

Meanwhile in Agodi government House, the premier had vanished and went to his private residence armed with guns in Iyaganku.

My dad was with him and told Akintola to leave!

He (Akintola) said: ‘I will be an ‘Omo Akin’; his last words meaning BRAVE TILL THE END. Historical archives say Akintola exchanged gunfire with the soldiers. MY FATHER HAD JUST LEFT HIS HOUSE THAT MORNING!!

Meanwhile on the Remi Fani-Kayode side at the deputy premiere's residence in Agodi (still the deputy governor's residence to this date), the soldiers arrived and were beating the hell out of FFK's father with their guns RIGHT IN FRONT OF FEMI WHO WAS five years old.

Femi, myself and my mom recounted this moment (in) January 2016 over the phone last year on the 50th anniversary. Femi told my mom he vividly remembers.

They then took his dad away. He later escaped death.

In all this 1966 tragedy, only Ojukwu and Azikiwe, the other Nnamdi, ESCAPED.

So you see why the Hausas got mad and sla*ghtered the Igbos.

There will be no BIAFRA! You Biafrans must fight back and get the LAME NPF to arrests Arewa youths.

Osinbajo and El-Rufai ordered that. Nothing has been done. Stop using that as an excuse to divide Nigeria and form the B!

Igbos are extremely intelligent people. This entire Yorubaland will not be developed without them. If they leave, Ibadan's economy alone WILL COLLAPSE.

Biafrans however are smart but NOT intelligent people.

She vowed to fight against any attempt by Nnamdi Kanu and his likes to disintegrate the country.

She also accused Kanu having the audacity to accuse politicians of taking bribes, looting and even disrespecting former President Goodluck Jonathan, yet allegedly collected $5000 monthly at IPOB 'from Evans a classic Nigerian criminal'.

NAIJ.com had earlier reported that Femi Fani-Kayode faulted statement credited to ex-president, Olusegun Obasanjo, that the way to stop the Biafran agitation is to offer the Igbo cake.

Obasanjo had on Thursday, May 25, in Abuja at a Colloquim on 50 years of Biafra organised by the Yar’Adua Foundation reportedly appealed to those agitating for a Biafra state to shelve such request.
