Confusion as Fulani herdsmen protest anti-grazing law in Taraba (video)

- Fulani herdsmen are protesting against anti-grazing law in Taraba state

- Ekiti and Benue states had already passed the anti-grazing law

- The Fulani herdsmen said that the law was against Nigerian Constitution

The Fulani herdsmen are protesting as the anti-grazing law recently signed by Governor Darius Ishaku's government is working on.

In a video clip, NAIJ.com gathered that the Fulani herdsmen said that the law is also against the Nigerian constitution.

Recently the Benue state governor Samuel Ortom passed the anti-grazing bill after its counterpart from Ekiti Ayodele Fayose signed the law and maintained that the violators would not go unpunished.

NAIJ.com had previously reported that more than 15, 000 persons fled their homes and taken refuge in IDP camps in Taraba state.

The individuals, who are mostly farmers, fled their communities due to renewed attacks by suspected Fulani herdsmen. Suspected herdsmen had launched deadly attacks on Gazabu, Kungana, Tukun Ruwa, Utsua Daa and Kpenkpen villages, among others, leaving at least 11 people dead and scores injured.
