A report by TransparencIT Nigeria has listed some of the corruption-related court cases coming up today, Tuesday, June 20.
On the list are 2 former governors, Murtala Nyako of Adamawa state and Danjuma Goje of Gombe state, who is a serving senator.
A cousin to former president, Goodluck Jonathan, Robert Arizibola is also due for appearance.
Also billed to appear in court today is the immediate past national publicity secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olisa Metuh.

All the cases listed are being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Meanwhile, the EFCC acting chairman, Ibrahim Magu, has lamented that despite the efforts of the commission, the patrons of corruption are plotting how to continue the looting.
His words: “A band of corrupt elites threatened by momentum of the anti-graft war wants to derail the process.
“They are deadly, and without remorse, they plot and scheme to defeat the anti-corruption and take the country back to the dark days when corruption and impunity reigns supreme."
