Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has reacted to an attack on University of Osun State (UNIOSUN) by its officers at the school's campus at Ipetu Ijesha.
According to a statement sent to NAIJ.com, NAF said it does not condone or encourage the violation of anyone’s human rights.
The statement signed by Olatokunbo Adesanya, the director of public relations and information, read: The general public is invited to kindly note that the NAF has already commenced formal investigations into the reported unfortunate incidence.

''At the end of the investigations, Nigerians are assured that any NAF personnel found culpable will be dealt with in accordance with the appropriate laws.
''You are please requested to disseminate the information through your medium for the awareness of the general public.''
NAIJ.com had reported earlier today Wednesday, May 24 that officers of the Nigerian Air Force Institute of Safety, Ipetu Ijesa, continued their assault and brutalisation of students of the Osun State University in the town.
The military men stormed the private hostels where students of the institution live and beat them up, injuring some of them.
The Punch reported that the officers had invaded the university campus twice on Tuesday, May 23.
Not satisfied with the level of brutalisation on their victims, they later invaded the hostels and injured some of the students.
