The national coordinator of the Youth Group, Comrade Alabi Abiodun, who spoke on behalf of the organisation, commended Adesina for his exemplary role and service to the nation adding that this was why he qualified for the award.

NAIJ,com had earlier reported that Mr Femi Adesina urged Nigerians to ignore media reports on coup plot, saying it should not be stretched beyond what the military authorities had said.

Adesina stated this at a media chat with state house correspondents to mark two years of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration on Tuesday, May 23, in Abuja.

According to him, what the Chief of Army Staff, Maj-Gen Tukur Burutai, said about the issue was a 'routine warning that goes to military officers.’
