Woman in soup as SARS arrest her for creating Ponzi scheme in Awka (screenshots)

After the MMM Ponzi scheme lost it's momentum, something inevitably happened, other Ponzi schemes sprung up in its place.

From Twinkas to NNN, their names were varied and so were there strategies, but the aim was the same, to make money from others, without any enterprise.

She was arrested when the scheme failed, by men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in the state. Below is the conversation she reportedly had with a human rights lawyer, Emeka Ugwuonye, to whom she reached out for help:

In a strange twist, the popular Ponzi scheme, Mavrodi Mundial Movement (MMM), has brought smile to the faces of children as it donates food items, gifts to Igbehinadun Special School for the Deaf & Dumb and physically Challenged Children.

The reports indicate that MMM in conjunction with Life Changing Humanitarian Services visited the school on Saturday, April 8 in Okokomaiko, Lagos and unveiled a rehabilitated playing ground and basketball court.

NAIJ.com spoke to Nigerians about MMM and this is what they had to say:
