The Indigenous People of Biafra in a local method announced the proposed May 30 sit at home protest at the Federal high court on Tuesday, April 25.
The group who filled the court premises in their hundreds had gathered around an elderly man who dressed in a native South-East attire.
The man announced the scheduled sit at home protest using the popular 'ogele'.
The man who stood as a town crier for the group called on members of IPOB to stay away from any activities on the planned protest day.

He also said that they will be no market activities around all states in the South-East and South-South.

The protest the IPOB said has been slated in honour of its heroes who died during the Nigerian-Biafra civil war.
The jubilation which spread to major South-East and South-South state in Nigeria was also met with controversies over the bail conditions granted to Kanu.
