Personal assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on social media Lauretta Onochie has accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of sponsoring the pro-Biafra movement in the southeast.
Onochie tweeted this on her Twitter handle late on Tuesday, April 25 just shortly after Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) was granted bail by a Federal High Court in Abuja.

She was replying to a follower's observation that supporters of PDP and ex-president Goodluck Jonathan were rejoicing at Kanu's bail.
Onochie says the PDP is behind the pro-Biafra movement of IPOB
Onochie claimed that IPOB was being sponsored by the PDP because it was the opposition party's youth wing in the southeast.
She tweeted:

The presidential aide's submission came hours after PDP chieftains Ekiti governor Ayo Fayose and ex-aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode storm the Federal High Court 4 in Abuja on Tuesday to openly show support for Kanu at his trial.
