Lauretta Onochie tweeted an EFCC lawyer's response to Obasanjo's comments
President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide on new media Lauretta Onochie has fired a subtle reply back at former president Olusegun Obasanjo over his comments on why EFCC lost some cases recently.

In a tweet on Monday, April 10 morning Onochie quoted Emeka Ngige, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and prosecutor with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), as saying the anti-corruption agency is doing quite well with its cases.
Ngige said it was not proper for anybody to say the EFCC was losing the anti-corruption war because it lost a few cases.

NAIJ.com recalls that former President Olusegun Obasanjo, on Sunday, April 9, revealed why the EFCC was losing some of its cases.
Obasanjo said that the EFCC was losing cases due to its failure to engage what he called “staunch ogbologbo lawyer,” stressing that most of the lawyers employed were outsiders.
The ex-president made the remark in response to a charge by President Muhammadu Buhari to the anti-graft agency to stop losing cases.
