How 3 men were caught with human skull, charms in Ekiti state

- Some suspects alleged to be kidnappers have been arrested with a human skull and some weapons in Ekiti state

- The suspects were arrested by men of the Operation Flush at Igirigiri, a farmstead in Ado Ekiti

Commotion in Ekiti as police arrest three with human skull

The suspects in possession of human skulls were arrested by men of the Operation Flush at Igirigiri, a farmstead in Ado Ekiti.

Three men in Ekiti state have been arrested for allegedly being found in possession of a human skull.

The suspects–Muhammed Isiaka, Ismaila Okoro and Abidemi Awolusi–were said to have been arrested with the skull and some weapons, including charms, the Punch reports.

According to the Ekiti state commissioner of police, Abdullahi Chafe, the suspects were arrested by men of the Operation Flush at Igirigiri, a farmstead in Ado Ekiti.

Abdullahi Chafe described the suspects as kidnappers and armed robbers who had been terrorising Ekiti in recent times.

Other suspects who were paraded alongside the alleged kidnappers are Tope Falua, Olaoluwa Fagbamila, Gbenga Faleye and Kehinde Adejuwon.

The police commissioner said the “charms and Indian hemp were recovered from Adejuwon’s premises during a search on the premises.

The police said another group of persons, Oyewumi Tope and Olayiwola Faluru, were arrested while allegedly siphoning diesel on the premises of the Ekiti State Water Corporation.

The police also paraded one Olusoji Damilola, who was allegedly caught at the scene of a robbery, where a petrol station’s attendant, Oluwadare Adebayo, was robbed of N1.2m.

The police boss assured Ekiti residence that the police will not rest until the people can sleep with their two eyes closed.

He said the arrested suspects will be charged to court soon.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com reports that a Twitter user, @Ms_Teey, has cried out after her friend was allegedly kidnapped by men in Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) uniform.

The young lady shared a photo of her friend on Friday, March 31, saying that her friend was kidnapped in Rivers state.

She claimed that the men who had been dressed in SARS uniform picked her friend up but after her friend’s aunt went to SARS office to inquire the reason she was taken, the SARS officers said they had not picked anyone up.
