NAIJ.com recalls that the Chibok girls were abducted by Boko Haram three years ago on April 14, 2014.

The BBOG group was formed shortly after by former education minister Oby Ezekwesili to get the Nigerian government under former president Goodluck Jonathan to act quickly and rescue them.

Marches, rallies and protests by the BBOG have become a regular and annual event which have continued into the new administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
