ThisDay is reporting that the operatives of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have raided the residence of former NNPC managing director Esther Nnamdi-Ogbue.
The EFCC officials were said to have stormed the Abuja home of the former Managing Director of the Petroleum Products Marketing Company (PPMC) and later Managing Director of NNPC Retail on Thursday afternoon.

The report says it was not clear why the operatives were at her Abuja residence.
An unnamed member of her family denied that Nnamdi-Ogbue owned the Lagos apartment and the cash found in it.
“They were actually at home yesterday (Wednesday), when they heard that EFCC officials were in the building. Nnamdi, her husband, had a slight fever and was at home with his son.
“No one ever came to their apartment at the time of the raid and I can confirm that Esther is in Abuja as we speak,” he said.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com gathered that Sahara Reporters, which had earlier tipped Nnamdi-Ogbue as the alleged owner of the apartment, says it has now confirmed that the said apartment belongs to an unnamed daughter of former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees chairman Tony Anenih.
NAIJ.com recalls that the EFCC held a sting operation on Wednesday, April 12 in a residential building in the 7th Floor of a four - bedroom apartment at Osborne Towers located at 16, Osborne road Ikoyi and discovered huge cash in different currencies.
Bankers were brought in with their counting machines and the total amount was put at $43.4m, £27,800 and N23.2m.
